Birds Point
The purpose of this study is to improve the navigation conditions through the main span of the Cairo Bridge and to reduce the need for repetitive channel maintenance dredging from RM 948 - 947. This study is on the Middle Mississippi River from RM 8 - 0, the Ohio River from RM 959 - 954, and the Lower Mississippi River from RM 953 - 948. This study is conducted for the St. Louis District.
